Rosemont, IL, December 4, 2013—Rick Blabolil, president of Marketing Innovators International, Inc., a leading provider of rewards, recognition and incentive programs, was recently appointed to the Business Marketing Association International Board of Directors where he will help lead the development of the BMA’s research arm through a partnership with the academic institution The FORUM: Business Results Through People.
Solid research is especially critical for business-to-business marketers. “The market is pretty unforgiving and success in the B2B environment is grounded in solid research. This is the backbone of everything we do, from branding to developing products and services that deliver value,” says Blabolil.
Blabolil is a founder and past president of The FORUM. He has served as president of the Incentive Marketing Association and vice president of the Incentive Research Foundation. He’ll be working alongside Michelle M. Smith, vice president-business development of O.C. Tanner, who will serve as vice president of research for the BMA International Board of Directors and Dr. Frank Mulhern, associate dean of Northwestern University’s Medill Graduate School of Integrated Marketing Communications, who is The FORUM’s academic director and principal researcher.
“The partnership will lead the way to new research developed in collaboration with The FORUM and the BMA, in addition to giving BMA members access to the large body of research currently available through The FORUM,” says Blabolil. “The BMA research arm will be integrated with The FORUM’s network of academic researchers and strategic partners, opening opportunities for additional assets.”
